Nashville, TN — Brighthouse, a two-year-old Nashville cleaning service that provides eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaning solutions to consumers has partnered with the Texas nonprofit Cleaning For A Reason to fight dirty against cancer!
Brighthouse Luxury Green Home Cleaning is one of almost 1,000 companies in the U.S. and Canada that has agreed to provide free cleaning services to women fighting cancer. The venture is a partnership with Cleaning For A Reason, which maintains the website where cancer patients register for the service (http://www.cleaningforareason.org/cancer_patients_accept.html).
“Any of our 25 employees can attest to the fact that home cleaning is strenuous work,” said Jason Adkins, owner of Brighthouse. “Cancer patients need their strength to tolerate treatment and get well. Even small cleaning tasks, like dusting, can lead to breathing difficulty for some patients. Other patients have difficulty walking following chemotherapy infusions and don’t have the endurance to vacuum or do laundry.
